Stopped for a quick lunch after a hike and I really loved the vibe of this place. Ordered a jalapeno burger (which was fantastic) and an appetizer called Biker Bites. It's a fried mixture of corn kernels, jalapeno, and I believe some ranch/cheese that worked way better than it has any right to. It's served with an avocado ranch sauce and the appetizer gave me this whole "you didn't know you were in the mood for this until you tried it" feeling. Thumbs-up all around for Daniel's. If you dine here, try their Biker Bites (like a mountain biker, or motorcycle?) and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
They have the best bacon cheeseburger in town. They don't pre-cook the bacon like most joints. Their bacon and ground beef are from the local butcher (Truths) in Catonsville. Surprisingly also great weekend breakfast options and desserts all week. Also a good place to enjoy sports bar dining. Looks like a dive biker bar, I ignored the place for years to my regret. Was featured in Baltimore magazine for their burgers. Chicken quesadilla was boring. Wife loved their Blueberry Pancakes (pic) and I had an omelet with a side of scrapple that I just threw on top (pic). Yum.
What a great find! Daniel’s is fantastic. Reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. The staff is so friendly! I had the Yankee steak. It was perfect. Probably the best steak I have had at a restaurant in years. I am definitely coming back here when visiting. Oh and they have a cornhole tournament on Wednesday nights!
What a find! I was looking for a Greek omelette, and this place popped up. From outside it didn't even look open. I drive by here all the time and there are always a bunch of bikes out front, I wouldn't have thought they did breakfast but they do and it was great and it was packed. The food was great, the service was a little slow but they were apologetic and kept our cups full and the coffee was great too. And, it was definitely worth the wait. I will be back to try the bacon cheese burger!
The Chef and Bartender were amazing. Each putting their own touches to food and Beverages. Everything was great. Highlights: the beet salad was spectacular. The cucumber ginger cocktail was amazing.
Oh my goodness. This place was delicious. So many places offer great pics of their food, and when it comes out ya have to wonder what went wrong. This place has no pics on menu, so I'm leaving pics. Yes, it tastes fabulous. I couldn't stop eating.
An Elkridge institution since 1975 with unbeatable character! The bacon cheeseburger was voted best in Baltimore for good reason — juicy, perfectly cooked, and massive. The Maryland crab soup is outstanding, and the breakfast is legendary (try the scrapple gravy!). Laid-back biker bar atmosphere with friendly locals, live music, and surprisingly excellent food.
After hiking at Patapsco Valley I found this little gem. Great for indoor / outdoor dining with a casual vibe. Definitely try the house made potato chips... these were so thin and crispy!
Heard about this place from Reddit. Had good reviews so I decided to check it out and I was not disappointed! I got the biker bites as recommended which were amazing, I loved the sauce. Got burgers and they were great. Service was very quick, I had just finished my appetizer as the burgers came out. I got a grapefruit crush and I wasn’t too impressed by it, tasted mainly the vodka as opposed to the sprite or any other sweetness, but the rest of the experience was great! Got a peanut butter cheesecake to go, was very excited by this because there were no desserts listed on the online menu.
This has the same vibe as my bar in Catonsville (Shacks): food not too fancy but filling, warm decor, friendly regulars, good drinks, cute bartenders, and solid service. On top of that, it has TWO bars: one in front and one in back--with a backyard! Checks all the boxes for a great local bar!
